Some directories offer users to submit recommendations alongside the reviews. A recommendation is a popular feature on Realtor.com, Foursquare, LinkedIn, etc. 

Since the recommendations are different from reviews, they will not be considered as suitable for reporting in Rep Kahuna and here are the reasons why: 

1. Recommendation can be submitted without the author's name.

2. Recommendations don't have a rating set for it, so there is no way to differentiate a good from a bad recommendation. 

3. Last but not least, most recommendations don't have a date attached to it.
