In this article, we will go over the details of what Social Covers looks like and how to create cover sets from templates and scratch in a few easy steps.



Creating Social Covers Using Built-in Templates

Complete the following steps to create a Social Cover using built-in templates:

Step 1. From the main dashboard, click Create Covers V2.




Step 2. Select the business whom you want to create the covers for.




Step 3. Select a template.




Step 4. Type in the name of your cover set.




Step 5. Select the sizes that you want to work with.


You can work with different sizes and platforms such as Facebook Page, LinkedIn Business Profile, LinkedIn User Profile, YouTube, Google My Business, Twitter, and Instagram Post.




Step 6. Once you are done selecting your cover set sizes, click Next Step.



Step 7. You can customize all the elements on your cover. For example, if you want to update your background, click the Background element.




Step 8. Move the focal point of the background to display the image correctly. Once you are done, click Save.




Step 9. To replace the default background image, click on the image, and select a different background.




Step 10. To update the template image, double click on the image and select an image from the gallery.




Step 11. Single clicking on an image lets you crop the image in different ways.




Step 12. Once you are done, click Save icon.




Step 13. Click on the Text element to start your adjustments.




Step 14. Adjust your text with the given text formatting tool.




Step 15. Adjust the remaining elements that you need to customize. Once you are done, click Next Step.




Step 16. You will now see all the full set of your covers with all the designs created. 


Click the Approve Covers button to finalize your social covers.

Adjusting Your Social Covers in Edit Mode


Complete the following steps to adjust your Social Covers in Edit Mode:


Step 1. Once you are in the Preview/Edit Mode window, click the edit icon on the social cover you want to adjust.




Step 2. Make your necessary edits. 

Always make sure that the focal point is correctly positioned for your images.



Step 3. Always check the guides to ensure that all the elements are visible on both desktop and mobile views.




Step 4. Once you are done editing your cover, click Save.




Step 5. Repeat Steps 1 to 4 on the remaining covers that you wish to edit.


Step 6. Once you are done with all of your covers, click Approve Covers.





Checking Your Final Covers From the Contact Record


Complete the following steps to check your final covers from the contact record:


Step 1. Once you already approved all your social covers, click the Back to Contact Record button.




Step 2. Click the Draft Link icon to access the draft link of your covers.




Step 3. Start downloading your finalized covers by clicking the Download icon.




Step 4. To send a cover set to your clients, select a cover set.




Step 5. Click Actions and select the action that you want to perform.





Creating Social Covers From Scratch 


Complete the following steps to create a Social Cover from scratch:

Step 1. From the main dashboard, click Create Covers V2.




Step 2. Select the business whom you want to create the covers for.




Step 3. Click Customize A New Cover From A Blank Canvas.




Step 4. Type in the name of your cover set.




Step 5. Select the sizes that you want to work with.

You can work with different sizes and platforms such as Facebook Page, LinkedIn Business Profile, LinkedIn User Profile, YouTube, Google My Business, Twitter, and Instagram Post.



Step 6. Once you are done selecting your cover set sizes, click Next Step.



Step 7. Start with your Background element and select the background that you want to use.




Step 8. Work with your Images by selecting an image from the gallery.




Step 9. Move the image to your desired position.




Step 10. Crop the image or use the other different tools to enhance and adjust your image.




Step 11. Add Shapes.




Step 12. Change the shapes’ color and opacity as needed.




Step 13. Next, add your text to that shape. 




Step 14. Format your text using the different Text Settings tools.




Step 15. Add more shapes and text as needed.


Step 16. You can also add graphics such as logos, icons, and lines to your cover.




Step 17. Adjust your graphic element. Make sure also to adjust the layering of your elements so that it is properly visible.




Step 18. Once you are happy with your cover design, click Next Step.




Step 19. Review your covers and edit them if you still needed some changes to make.




Step 20. Once you are done, click Approve Covers and return to your Contact Record to find your draft and final link.
