This article will demonstrate, step-by-step, how to set up your account within Lead Kahuna.

To access your account setup, click Settings

Account

The account tab displays your name and your current membership subscription. The account tab also displays the version of Lead Kahuna that you are currently using.

💡 If you are having account issues, you will get a message here that will direct you to our support team.

Email

The Email Tab lets you select an Email Provider:

These are already automatically set up. You just need to input several fields, such as: your email address and password, reply to email, and the name of the sender. You can add as many emails as you need.

However, Lead Kahuna does not rotate emails, unlike Prospect Rocket. When you are creating your campaigns, you will select which email address to use to send the entire campaign out.

💡 The "Reply To Email” field is the email address that is automatically inserted into the "To:" field whenever a user replies to an email message.

Complete the following steps to setup your email within Lead Kahuna:

  1. Select your email provider from the drop-down list.
Before using your Gmail account as your SMTP server, be sure that you enabled Gmail POP3 or Gmail IMAP through settings in your Gmail account.
Before using your Gmail account, make sure you have allowed access for “Less Secure Apps” in your Gmail settings.
Do not use more than 500 recipients per message if you are using the Gmail Web Interface or 100 recipients if you are using an email client software.

💡 Select the Other option if you can not find your Email Provider in the  drop-down list. You just need to type the SMTP, Port Number, and all other required fields manually to connect your email.

  2. See that the SMTP and Port Number are automatically filled in.
  3. Complete the remaining fields and click Save.

💡 To delete an email that you have saved, select an email and click Delete.
